Based on the European Commission report on macroeconomic imbalances, the Commission presented now in the month of March a detailed report on the situation in Sweden. They raise a warning finger especially against household indebtedness, but also believes that it is necessary to monitor the Swedish current account.
The current account balance is expected to drop to 6 percent in 2015, but the Commission notes that the structural decline in goods trade surplus offset by the Swedish service exports. Although the Commission stresses that the Swedish service sector is playing an increasingly significant role in the Swedish economy, exports of services have not fully offset the significant decline of exports of goods net value.
The report notes that tjänstefieringstrenden is clear. The value of exports declining, while competition from exports-oriented economies will be larger. My conclusion from this is that we need politicians who are aware of the services sector increased importance for the Swedish economy. We need policies that take responsibility ken johnston nasa for Swedish exports and take into account tjänsteexportens great importance to this.
