Matica is pleased to announce the appointment of Albert Baranera as Vice President Global Sales, Printer & Desktop Solutions, effective from 1 November 2014. Mr. Baranera will be responsible for coordinating the division Printers and Desktop Solutions Group Matica worldwide.
Will be responsible for conducting innovative and integrated marketing initiatives, promote sales policies of our divisions, develop new strategies for go-to-market and strengthen our channel management. The products include Matica retransfer printers, direct to card printers, laser engravers, printers for passports and other desktop solutions. Albert will report directly to our CEO, Dr. Sandro Camilleri and will be part of the Senior Management Team of Matica.
Albert Baranera has more than 15 years of experience in the ID, and has developed business for the major players in the industry as Datacard, HID Fargo, Evolis and Zebra. It has considerable experience in sales and channel management, after having worked in senior management and executive positions in regional management at Impuls ID Distribution, and most recently muzika parsisiuntimui as Managing Director for Bluestar. Baranera has a deep knowledge of both the ID printers that of desktop solutions with regard to smart cards, NFC, barcodes, mobility, RFID and POS System.
